jiangjiang!

Travelling to and fro can be really taxing. Especially when you're in heels and without a seat on the train.

We both were really quiet on our way back. There was quite a lot to talk about yesterday, and it's back to square one again today. =x

Anyway, Monday was pretty eventful. What with having Dickson and friends around for lunch, and seeing Sharon Au in person. AND ripping out the keys '2'/'Q'/'W' from my laptop keyboard. =.=
The ring on the audit file got stuck on my keyboard and I yanked it out only to see 3 keys flying. I'm surprised I managed to fix it! =D I know the guys @ work were really amazed when they tried to help. They said they had their keys come loose before as well but it was nothing like mine...

Tuesday saw me car-sick going down to the client's from office. Hated it. No mood to work.

That's all for now.

I love weekends.

My family recently caught on this beading fever and I now have a box full of accessories. An impressive lot considering how new this addiction is. I just made a pair of earrings yesterday. =D All that twisting and turning using those pliers resulted in some broken skin. And I was almost blinded by all that sparkling swarovski crystals in the trays.

Nights with JH are always crazy. She stayed over but we didn't sleep late, cuz I couldn't hold out for long. =x A while before I hit the sack, I think I reminded her about 4-5 times not to sleep on her scissors, cuz she'd just left it somewhere under her blanket. And she said I was long-winded. =.= Um, I tend to laugh a lot and say the same thing over and over again when I'm sleepy.

Went down to celebrate grandpa's birthday. Food wasn't bad, except for the steamed flower crabs, which were really quite icky. Loved the cake, the strudels, and the dessert though. And we played with sparklers and lanterns!!! Haven't touched those in eons... It was like re-living childhood all over again. Haha. Too bad Ju left without joining in the fun...

Ju by the way is:

dragon-girls

This pic was the funniest of the lot we took. She complained that her eyes were too small in the last pic. And because we both have slits for eyes, we had to open it up WIDE. And it turned out like t.h.a.t.

Haha. We looked very shocked.

That's one paternal cousin I'm closer to...so there. Unfortunately, the pic doesn't look as clear as it does on my phone.

Work again tmr. I hope he had a nice break, cuz I'm so gonna bombard him with my questions when I see him tmr.

To: Me

So having lunch alone makes you feel a little out of place, especially when at all the other tables their giggling and talking towers over the grumbling sounds of their stomachs.

But it wasn't that bad right? Not like you'd die.
So it was a little lonely, and quiet, all by yourself at one corner, thinking if the chef sprinkled a bit more salt on your fried seafood rice than you would've liked it.

You half-wished you were invisible and that the waiter didn't throw you that 'huh?' look when you told him you wanted a table for one. But then again, you can't help but be thankful that being alone, there's no need for interaction of any sort; that you could just concentrate on finishing your food and leave. It was an awkwardness of a different kind; different from the one where you had to eat with someone you weren't familiar with. Another kind of silence.

But I survived it. And I was back in the office by 1:10.

I wondered who A Tan was when I saw those initials appear in my inbox.

Tutors rarely contact me for stuffs like that.
Anyway, what am I doing online on a week-night? If there's such a word like "week-night".

Today's lunch was longer~ by that I meant we fully utilised the 1 hour break. There was time for teh-c, and that pineapple rice was mountainous.
I think I wasted a lot of food over the past 2 weeks- I can't seem to finish my lunch. And I'm starting to think that mentos mint is a good alternative to teeth-brushing after lunch.

Don't know how to word that report; I'm like, lost. =x Jialat jialat. My weekends are like half-burnt already.

Went for piano after work yesterday. Was yawning half the time. Good thing I somehow managed to play through that Gigue, albeit playing all the wrong notes and stuff. I seriously have so much more to work on, and I've got from now up to, next March? My scales are nightmarish.

>.<

7 min to Thurs.

Out with HY. First visit to TCC, and that one glass cost 8 bucks >.< And after that MightyJoeYoung (which tasted very much like bananas+coffee) and many cups of iced water, I felt very full and that I could have slept right there and then. Although we agreed that what we were seated on wasn't exactly all comfy and snug, it was a really lazy Sunday. Lazy Sundays are good for sleeping in, but unfortunately, there's this 'built-in alarm' that made me woke up at 7+ this morning.

He got the cd he wanted, and I finally got back my vcds after dunno-how-many-semesters.

I'm bombarding friends with lots of requests and messages and all the weird stuff you can find on Facebook. Feeling a bit apologetic for it, but it's all so alien and refreshing it's pretty fun. Except I can't draw graffiti on it, cuz something in the system doesn't agree with my laptop.

It's mon again tmr. Shoo MondayBlues!

outoutout

After 2 weeks at work, I can't decide if I prefer studying or working. But it sure is tiring.

Pretty late with my updates, but I felt tremors for the first time ever. Though the slight giddiness caused was merely the tip of the iceberg in comparison to those in Sumatra, I'm certain I wouldn't like to have to go through it any other time. I thought it was just me, succumbing to exhaustion from work, and started berating myself for so weak. Haha. UNTIL I saw the newsflash.

'Chilled out' with people on Fri night, and took neoprints. >.<
It was a pretty weird sight because there were about 9 of us all crammed inside, and all decked in formal wear. By the way, the lamination was done poorly.
Caught up with each other over baked rice (yay!) at NYDC, and later at Level 9 at Heeren.
I stayed out till quite late and only reached home at 11+++ nearing 12 midnight. Good thing I didn't get slapped with a curfew.
Just hours ago, I was back at Heeren again with my cousins. We ended up taking neoprints and I got the younger one a gift. =D Saved me the trouble coz' she chose her own gift. We saw many little mr and miss tees and I figured the "Little Miss Late" tee suits me just fine. But I didn't get it, not when I'm on a tight budget having spent so much this week.

Many other birthdays coming up! ;) And I can't think of what to get for them.

Can't wait till the next 21st celebration for Steph (ahem) and can't wait to see my cousin's newborn. I heard he's a handsome lad that newborn...with a unusual name. My mum and grandma were grinning from ear to ear when they talked about him.

I haven't finish reading HP's 7th instalment. =.=
Oh, and results were out on Friday. And I'm happy to say that the reports and emcee-ing
haven't been in vain. :) Finally, after 3 semesters, I see a different grade for the accounts module. The one eyesore was that ugly ugly grade of a C+, for a non-core module.

Re: Steph

To Steph,

I do realise, after your post, how much we rely on msn to keep in contact with each other.

And I think there's a typo there somewhere in your post. You meant to say ONE senior only, instead of "a few" right? Cuz I believe only YOU somehow got your eyes stamped. Heh.

And no, I haven't been working OT. But that'll be a different story altogether when peak period comes.

I attribute my absence to TV, and the past week has seen me transforming into a total couch potato right after I set foot into my humble abode. I think work gets some getting used to, because right now I'm mentally drained I sleep much earlier than usual. Now you know why I find coming online such a chore...

Right now as I'm typing this, my head's aching VERY badly and I don't know why. ARGH. My room's in a complete mess (again) and over the weekend I just spent $$$ on new clothes and shoes even before getting the returns from work. People give themselves a nice treat after getting their first payslip. I did the complete opposite. >.< I had about 4 blisters adorn my feet on my first day of work.

Lunch and transport's taking a toll on my wallet.

Head hurts badly. I'll see you soon. =D

Toodles!

ODDBALLS all.

I think my new do looks a teeny bit weird.

Anw, this new guy (or apprentice) who washed my hair yesterday - chatty. Oddball. Ok, maybe he was trying to be friendly, but it was like -duhs.
Many scringe-worthy moments at the hairdresser's, but nvm about that.

I spent the rest of the day at my uncle's. Family gatherings are always, like that. That "family friend" appears at almost every celebration, and his presence irks me because this effeminate HE is the noisest at the mahjong table, eats alot, and always look as if people owed him a million bucks.

Attachment starts tmr. Hope everything goes well, and that I won't get lost.

I haven't browsed through my audit notes and I'm going out to K with the girls later. OMG.

countdown

Watched Hairspray with Jies =)
Around them, I always feel like a kid sister. Haha. It's good, to feel like you have elder sisters to look out for you.

We smuggled drinks and fries into the theatre, and I had 2 full cups in my crumpler. Think I spilt some cuz the plastic bag felt heavy even after we took the drinks out. Anyway, I took a sip from the wrong cup (which I'd placed on my left), and I think small jie didn't notice. I realised that I drank from the wrong cup only after seeing her drink from the same cup. So I asked dajie if the other cup was mine instead (the one which I'd placed on my right). She was like ya and I was like oops.

The kids behind and beside us were horrible. They cackled with laughter at John Travolta almost every time he appeared. For most of the time, we ended up laughing at their cackling instead of the show itself. No, I don't mean to say the show's not funny, but ya, you get what I mean.
If you haven't caught any movies recently, I'd strongly recommend this. I love musicals.
Oh, and if you like HighSchoolMusical as well, this movie is for you.
For one, there's Zac, the one reason I believed the girls were gushing out aloud and screaming when he shared an onscreen kiss with the fat-and-cute lead in the show. I'm almost certain the screeching from the girls was none other than an outburst of jealousy. k.i.d.s

The ITFair's on, so we went to have a look. The escalators leading up to the fair looked like a rubbish dump, littered with pamphlets. >.<
We targeted mp3s at the fair and saw the nano/creativestone/zen. AND the MAC notebook looks perfect for my desk. =x
Um, but that will have to come much later. So far, my X40's served me pretty well; I shan't be cruel. Haha.

Tomorrow, I'll go cut my hair. My cousins will be coming over and there's grandma's bday celeb at night.
I'm looking forward to Sunday, cuz that's when I'll meet Bin, SK and Linn. =D

And then it's attachment on Monday already!
