Very bothered.

It just hurts a little still.

There... right there...

Now and then somehow, it bugs me, how I'd been so indecisive, and decided then that it'd be better to consult them.

Ought to really kick myself for that.

But I'm taking too long to heal.
It's bad.

I've gotten so good at hiding I can't remember what it'd felt like before.

school starts

The 2 week break's over and school starts.

Pretty eventful so far.

Mon
Got Celia to watch Ocean's 13 with me. I had "bogus tickets" (by bogus I mean written and not printed), because the machine was faulty, at the student price of $6. In the theatre, we squinted in darkness at our "tickets" and realised the trainee wrote only the seat numbers and not the alphabet of the row. The usher then told us we could probably just take any seats then. -shrugs
They've got comfortable seats there at Cathay @ AMK Hub. :)
The show was alright. Think Ocean's 11's still the best.
Can't wait for Potter on 12 July!!! :)))

Tues
Preparation for WIL finale going underway already. Intensive stuff. We've got a timeline/ roles/ millions of things on our to-do list. I ended up scribbling all over my foolscap paper when I was supposed to take minutes, because the administrator was absent. Hope the administrator won't get a headache trying to decipher my hideous handwriting. I hope the proper minutes get churned out soon.
I foresee a lot of video editing/ proposal writing again.
Anyway, the role I'd be taking on for the finale is just a nightmare. My elders gather that it'd good experience, BUT I think I might just shrivel up and die in front of 450 people, if we are able to get that number for the finale.
wwwwhhhhhyyyyyyy.......
AND, please mark down somewhere on your calendars/schedule books and free yourselves on
20.07.2007 (fri) @ 6p.m
It's very important! =)) It's THE FINALE. Come support us at LT 26! It's open to everyone. If interested, do let me know ya? I'll tell you more about it. It's an awareness program, and no tickets will be sold. Entrance is free.

No longer in any bands nor in the percussion group, yet somehow still have to pull the crowds =
Aiights.

Audit common test papers returned. Did alright I guess, but could have done better somehow.
By the end of this week, I'd get back TAX and LAW. AFA would only be returned next Wed.

Burnt midnight oil for AFA ppt.

Wed
I'd set my alarm an hour earlier again =(
Got a bit grumpy with no coffee to drink (because no boiled water) and with THE presentation scheduled at 9 am. Slept on the bus and almost missed my stop.
VERY STRESSFUL having to sit through 3 presentations before my group's turn. And I talked so fast, because time was running out, I think I mispronounced some words.
I'm just really relieved that the AFA project's finally DONE!
joyjoyjoy.

pictures! =)

The event was pretty successful I guess. But when we heard of how much ACTUALLY went to HS, it was not very encouraging...

We were served tap water with a couple of lemon slices in a jug, and a cake from the restaurant. Skipped dinner, because we had been too busy to eat.

The green shirts that we had to wear made us look like shrek(s). A pity we didn't have those shrek ears that the staff at MacDonald's are wearing. We talked ourselves hoarse sharing our experience with the diners. Most were nice, while others looked irritated that we interrupted their dinner. BUT, the plates of food before them didn't look all that appetising =x

That makes up 7/9 of the group. The only guy in the group's away in Hongkong for a holiday, and the other female's got dengue. Nonetheless, we had fun. =)

Early next morning, we 3 had to go down to Geylang clinic again. Which is not nice, considering how late we got home just the night before. Met up with some HPB personnel and discussions weren't all that smooth. Went to Carlin's house to do Law after that, but didn't make very good progress.

Friday!
Met up with the girls at Pasir Ris to cycle. Ended up all stinky and lost, because we couldn't find the shop where we were to rent our bicycles. I believe in that few minutes, I'd burn off quite a bit of calories from all that walking. Hope Bin finally learnt to keep her arms and bicycle straight. Haha. We rented the bicycles for 2 hours, but spent about half an hour at a photo stop.

We used the same tree in all 4 photos. It was all kind of goofy and stupid. >.<>

My personal favourite.

I don't know what we were doing, Linn must have took it on the sly. Haha. My hair's a complete mess.

Linn had sunblock on. Unfortunately, none of us had the decent mind to bring some mosquito repellent and by the end of the day, I believe the mosquitoes had their fair share of our blood.

To prove how SUNNY it was, we have this:

We didn't have lunch. Haha, and ended up having desserts instead. My mango pudding+ice cream was icky. I'd grown sick of it only after a spoonful of that orangey mash.

We then proceeded to KBox where we sang right up to 6+ in the evening, without Bin. =(
That pretty much summed up Friday.

P/S: picture posts are troublesome.

Later in the evening, I'll be down at Vivo for the event.

It's hours away, but I'm already feeling jittery and nervous.
It's only the pilot. Imagine the FINALE on the 21st July.
If they really make me emcee for the finale, I might just cry.

We're finally done with the AFA proj, whether or not it's correctly done is another problem altogether. I can't wait for presentation to be over and done with. So unfortunate that I'd have to present again, as the lots drawn decreed it to be so. =(
This project has got to be one of the most irritating ones ever.

Now that we're down with one, there're a couple more to go. Be meeting up for LAW again tmr, and hopefully, we can finish everything by then. WISP on fri (better be chopchop, and all done in a jiffy)
What else....
oh ya.
AERO.
I don't understand the assignments.

Had a very long chat with Celia over the phone, well into the wee hours of the morning, all the while with my eyes closed and on the bed. My ears hurt a bit after that. =x
It's a competitive world out there. Grades that might get you into the faculty of your choice back then just can't quite make the cut now. It scares me just hearing her talk about it now. Will the same thing happen when it's my turn?

Also, would you rather pursue your passion? Or just settle for something that you decide would garner better job prospects in the future?
It's a tough call between the 2.

Whatever it is, I guess what's of utmost importance at the end of it all is not to have regrets. Even if ultimately we are unable to do what we really want to, I suppose we can take comfort in the fact that with everything we've done, we would have gained something in one way or another.

even my parents don't PREACH that much

I've sinned, greatly.

I told so many lies in a day, all at once.

=s

I've had enough of preaching, really.
so STOP coming to me!

imneverevergoingtoconvert.

It's Sunday alr! =(

Wanted to do the aerospace assignment today. BUT, I ended up having high tea at York Hotel (which I didn't even know existed =x ) to celebrate Father's Day.

It was nice, I guess. Haha. Ended up at Beach Road for some waffle with Belgian chocolate. However, the queue was LONG, we gave up. I realised the family's not one to queue up hours for food. It sucks to have to wait up to 2 hours, even half an hour, for food, even if it's highly recommended by the papers/TV hosts. So I don't think you'll see me queuing patiently for any doughnuts, unless it's under 30 min.

On our way home in the car, mum reminded us how problematic my brothers were when they were much much younger. It was really hilarious, especially this:

mum: hao was sprinkling water on rong as if he's watering a plant. I asked, "what are you doing?" and he said, "my brother's thirsty, so I'm feeding him water."

I couldn't stop laughing after that.

I think the lead singer of Maroon 5 has this intriguing look about him.
And some members in korean pop group Super Junior are really not bad-looking.
Hee :)

Lately, I detest receiving sms-es/ emails from a certain someone.

The least you could do when asking someone to do something is to put a "please" somewhere amongst your instructions.

Absolutely irritated.

so rude.
so so rude.

Anyway, piano today wasn't good. =(
i need my piano at my gramp's house la!!!
i can't even play coordinate playing detached on left and legato on right properly. How to go for exam next year?! -cries.

projectS galore.

So ashamed of my dreadful sense of direction. really. I was going round in circles looking for Car's block, under the scorching sun. By the time i finally found my way to her house, I was already half dead. Thank god for that packet of lemon barley straight out from the refrigerator. Haha. Pasir Ris is foreign, well, anywhere out of Hougang is painfully foreign to me I think. Especially when you're somwhere in between rows and rows of blocks and void decks and each block looks like the one you've just passed. I admire people who can tell the streets and avenues apart.

We didn't manage to complete what we'd set out to do. Law's all words - the black on white knows me and I don't know them. So, we decided to work on WIL instead, and almost died laughing. Relieved that I'm not going to be emcee. Like, look at me...do I look like I'll make a good emcee??? I'll most probably bore the tai-tais to tears that's what.
Anyway, some people can be so, bhb, and contradicting all at once, it gets on one's nerves.

Kinder-bueno-ed today =D
Bought too much, and WY ended up giving us each a pack, maybe as farewell gifts before the lucky chap flies off to HK tomorrow, and probably to wish us luck with the law project. =s very kind indeed. But, it's all squashed now, and "recuperating" in my refrigerator, because I forgot to take it out from my bag. =x

Will be busy doing afa tmr. i detest going back to school during breaks.

C'est la vie.

i window shop.

I've been swatting flies for the past few days...

not.

haha. had the sisters come stay over for 2 days. watched LOTS of tv, played lots of NDS Lite (they've got this catridge with all that mario and cooking games, haha) and window-shopped.
the only thing we spent on was food. we were at far east and heeren and we went home empty-handed.

try beating that. wahaha.

am really beat after trip to vivo today. wanted to go topshop/forever 21/mango/pullnbear to have a look, and ended up with loads of pics instead. so yes, i went home empty-handed again.

clothes don't "call out to me" in the way some friends claim they do. why? maybe except for those at espirit. hehe. despite GSS, it's still not very affordable eh?

i think i'll spend my monies on movies instead. haha. anyone?

yi zhen says:
lol
Linnette says:
i dunno y but i like seeing my name appearing in ppl's blog

ytd, I didn't get any heels.
I got myself a new top, that doesn't need ironing, which is good, for someone like me. =D love the convenience and uh, "rugged look".

we were all happy people with new tops.

went praying with gramps/mum and aunt today. "ji-tong(s)" in a trance are an interesting sight. they know everything and anything about you, which is amazing. i got some pretty sound advice from a 'ji-tong', and mum/aunt were like, "ya, so 'zhun'..."

mum then took us to great world city, where i got new tops again. obviously, a "5" didn't fit. so depressing. think i've got to watch my diet already.
walked past novo and saw so many pretty heels on the racks. patentpatentpatent. pity we didn't have time.

dropped by at godma's. my lil' nephew's learning to string words and all, with the pacifier stuck in his mouth. my godma says he hides it away when he sees his teacher, and puts it back in his mouth once his teacher is out of sight. And today at home, he showed us how he rode on his little pony, which is no bigger than the size of a NDS Lite. He's really really adorable. However, soon, with the addition of another nephew/niece (I don't know which yet) in August, it'll just be more fun for everyone during CNY! =)

Speaking of NDS Lite, mine, or rather my aunt's, is providing truckloads of entertainment. My aunt's NDS Lite has conveniently became mine for good because she seldom use it. Haha. Hopefully, there'll be improvement in the weight/size of my brain, cuz that's what the game says it does...

done-ed.

yayness.

relieved, for now.

the no. of projs we have to chiong during the break is just insane, seeing how accountancy students don't even have final yr projs to talk about.

many tks to the people who've heard my rants :)
finally, there's no need to wake up at 6:30 in the morning to try to cramp all the facts into my tiny brain.

some others are still mugging hard for CSP tmr. break a leg people!

after AFA paper ytd, on bus 74 with BY.
BY: very hot...
me: ya!
BY: and this couple in front causes global warming.

(yes, the guy had his face buried in his girl's hair quite a number of times. their hands were all over each other...irritating.)

a few min later,
BY: think we can tie them up, take them to North Pole, and they can melt the ice there.

haha. BY can be really funny at times. she's so "anti-mushy sightings". lol.

don't know what to get during shopping tmr. maybe i shall just remain a "bodyguard"
