looks like it's just one of those kind of days

Played Taboo! during psych tut ytd - the fun comes from seeing the rival group play and the buzzer sounded very much like a rubber duck.

Our group won! :) so yay, I hope prof remembers to award some much needed bonus points.

French presentation was unrehearsed, and I prepared for my speech for 2 slides extra. So I was waiting at the side for Carol to "pass it on" and she didn't. :/ Felt kinda dumb but oh well.
Apparently, after seeing the other groups present, we deduced that "hey, actually we're the most rehearsed!" We actually kept to the time limit of 2.5 min/speaker, and in comparison, it made us appear like we had nothing much to say with a shortshortshort presentation. Ahh.

Today's soci presentation about NUM was a real eye-opener. insightful. tres bien!

It is beyond me why Ad even asked him, "Eh, you were waving to us just now ah?" -dumbfounded-
Viv say she's so embarrassed she just sneaked into the classroom straight away, notwithstanding the fact that it was our least fav tut.

Relieved that my mortal FINALLY replied to my emails. It'd be dumb to be slapped with a forfeit if during camp, he says, "My angel MIA."

Haven't used "stoned" in quite a while. Do you still stone as much?

My weekends are unproductive, as usual :(

26.10 Had xiaolongbao again, though it didn't look like it. plus, softshellcrab.veg.toufu.suanlasoup. Eve looks like she enjoyed EVERY bite of EVERYTHING. haha. relieved some childhood memories at TOYSrUS while getting babyGiselle's gift, and was thoroughly amazed at the varieties available. Kids these days have it real good.

27.10 Carol (not Ang) and I were at starbucks and she got a cinammon roll+cheesecake+whatever-drink-that-is. I got NOTHING. =/ Meeting was over in less than half an hour, and we decided to do a lil' shopping around town since it's been sooo long either of us set foot in town. She just paid a hundred for that pair of espiritjeans without battling an eyelid; I'm amazed. For the whole time we were at espirit, I was secretly wishing I could grab everything off the racks and head home. Haha! But a while later, she felt a tinge of regret having spent money she earned from tutoring at whim.

I almost bought a dress (not from espirit).
Met up with YL to collect my purchases :) But the sleeveless's a bit tight. Oh no! spell F.A.T.

Dinner with the family at Sakae. Another short trip of shopping, and I saw this prettypretty PM photo frame :)) Would love to get another PM figurine as well if space and finances permit.

Thur's Ching's prac was quite fruitful and productive :) lots of polishing to be done but I'd like to think we're getting there...

Met up with Carol & YL ytd :)

But something happened in the bus on the way there which got me pretty incensed. In retrospect, I should have barked back at her the way she did me, and stared at her straight in the eye.

Nonetheless, the zhajiangmian/xiaolongbao/guotie made up for it. I loveeee the xiaolongbao though YL thinks she's tasted better ones.

This morning, I accompanied mum and dad to collect the HondaFit, and said bye to the toyota :(

There, I sneaked a picture of it :/ felt kinda upset and a little reluctant but oh wells...

But on the other hand, I was quite excited about the electric blue darling we just got, and I adore the instrument panel. Can't wait to get my license and lay hands on the wheel. But, there's something about the keys and all that was really confusing. It was funny how Dad was going on and on about its flaws (car so small, passenger seats so narrow, aircon so hot and yadda yadda yadda) when it was really him who initiated the purchase.

Will be out with Eve getting Gisele's gift. Without Jon, cuz he'll be at....Tioman I think. That guy always plays us out. Haha.

Can't wait for Dec!

Yay! My angel got me these to munch on for exams. Lol. And his handwriting's extremely neat for a guy (unless he got a girl to write it for him). He states in the letter I can let him know what other stuffs I like to eat and he'll try his best to get it for me. But, we don't know who our angels are so how am I to do that?

It is indeed nice to get stuffs like that. Haha! I'm sooo easy to please.

I'm still blogging.
I'm still like that.
I'm still playing the piano and taking exams.

I have lost some friends, I think.
I have met more people and made more friends.
I got my diploma.
I have gone to watch F1.
I have joined SPU/2-4, performed the opening act in ChildAid, and left the team. I have played in gigs.
I have become accustomed to late nights.
I now know what it's like to drive. (can't wait!)

For some reason, I'm glad we're gonna stick around :) yes, the practices will be grueling, what with steps to memorise both for ching and choir, and being part of concert comm, but we'll make it through.

I hate scales. Part playing's never my forte.

2nd ching reh yesterday. Friends contemplating to drop out of it, but haven't come to a conclusion. Warm-ups made us feel really unfit. Needless to say, I woke up with aches on the thighs, and on the sides. But on the other hand, working out feels great.

Met up with Stephie and Sher today for lunch and movie. the spicy&sour la mian from CrystalJade - nice! annnnndd the xiaolongbao.
Max Payne wasn't too bad. :) there were some stuffs on hallucination which was a little baffling, but oh well.
the sounds were deafening. and some slappings scared me more than the killings. the movie does make you think twice about getting pictures of wings as tattoos.

I still want to watch house bunny/nights in rodanthe, and possibly meet stan cuz I heard it's quite hilarious. But, nevermind, there's always Q. Can't wait.

Soci essay about done - some touching up to do when I get home today.

I'm old :( can't keep up (super) late nights at all. How anyone can go without sleep, or manage less than 5 hours of sleep in 2 days is beyond me.
Oh, and keeping up late nights means I get to see Mr.Lizard scurrying around when I go brush my teeth, or so much as step out of my room. You should check out my room - it's a creepie crawlies' utopia.

Think I'll pass today's reh. I need sleep. Feel my head spinning as even as I'm typing.
