the last thing I wanna do now is to blog

ugh. horrible throat. HURTS like crazy and the lozenges don't provide instant relief. and the honey ran out.

i suppose, something's better than nothing. but it's still different.

My brother actually asked my mum if she bought insurance for him before getting on.

Should have told him to take the bus to J8 and wait for us there instead. grrr.

Was about to leave after lunch and some window-shopping but I forgot where I parked, so mum went to get the car. Hahaha!

Grandma's cute. If my parents call to say to dine out, she'll tell me (in hokkien) to "go go, so that you have a chance to drive and familiarise yourself". Which is how I end up getting my hands on the wheel at least once a day, for four days consecutively, eversince Monday.

steamboat tomorrow!

Out to celebrate mum&dad's wedding anniversary yesterday. contemplated to go j8/cp, and ended up at alexandar rd. for teochew porridge.

quite a weird choice, but I guess better than going round in circles (very typical of dad, haha)
mum complained that she had plain porridge last year because she got carsick last year. think teochew porridge is slightly better than plain porridge. lol!

car's germ-infested. both mum and I were sniffing and sneezing throughout. good thing it stopped when I took over the wheel. headed to Golden Mile for dessert, passing the suntec and the flyer on the way there. flyer at night's really pretty. road-hogged driving at 50 when limit's 70. probation plates are a telling sign to others to "avoid whenever possible" heh.

that belgium choc+waffles shop ran out of waffles when we got there. settled for peanut tangyuans which were equally yummy!

shockingly, dad went to get a mocha, circled with swirls of chocolate syrup coupled with a huge lump of whipped cream at the top. our jaws dropped.

"why did you get that?"(knowing how dad's anti-fizzy-drinks-cum-chocolates-cum-anything-not-so-healthy)
"hahaha! i also don't know. nothing else to buy leh..."
cue =.="
"your daddy bian (change) le. he never use to buy this..."
secretly, i think he's experiencing andropause. lol!

anyway, he proceeded to take 2 sips i think, decided it was too sweet and handed it to mum.

"married for 21 years, not easy you know!" he said decidedly, all the time grinning.
dad sure acts weird when he's in a chirpy mood.

The things I do during crunch-time (i.e. examinations) anything and everything besides studying:

1) twirling snapped hair-bands around pen covers (or any stationery for that matter)

2) stare and snap at this and think where I left the other one with that's clothed with the heart-shaped patterned pants. at the same time thinking how sad it looks, and then wallow in self-pity because mugging makes me feel as gloomy as it looks.

3) draw, making sure to draw the cloud above it to depict 'smoke emission' from information overload (and editing it to sepia with the handphone's edit-feature)
Did some packing the night before and realised that I just might have enough stationery to open a little shop with.

There are more stationery in each pencil case there. I guess now you have a rough gauge~ Haha!
I thought HSM3 was better than HSM2. Haven't been to town since I-don't-know when and I felt like such a country bumpkin yesterday when out with JH.

I didn't become part of the statistics!
Very very very happy to stick the 2 'Probation' plates! :)

Caught half an episode of DH on starworld today and kept bombarding jiahui with questions she had no answers to. Haha.

Went for lesson with an expired PDL. So I was stuck in the circuit for 2 hours and I knocked down a pole when doing parallel parking.

Need to pack my pigsty tmr after lesson.

Exams are over!

I have never been as unprepared for my papers ever. (that is not to say that for the others I have always been well-prepared)

But I suppose once the invigilator says "Please stop writing." then that's it.

Thank you friends, all for hearing my grouses (like I'm some laotaipo)
There's alot going on lately, so
yay! Cheers to friends!

I VOW TO FINISH THAT POTTER BOOK BEFORE THE YEAR ENDS.

Haha. Even I think it's atrocious how that bookmark's been there for, more than a year I think?

This holiday, there will be practices galore. Lots of planning/packing to be done.

Oh, and I missed sooooo many episodes of DesperateHousewives. How am I going to make that up?

CashmereMafia's a new addicition. heh.

Christmas carols in malls now. current fav's jingle bell rock :)

jingle bell jingle bell jingle bell rock~

Grrr.

I'm gettting the full works of a runny nose, a sore throat, and a spinning head.

One left on fri, which I haven't studied for.
Great.

Stats today was so tough, I think I might be happy with a pass.

One down, three to go.

it sucks to be me, for now.

We aimed to complete that darn project and leave school by 4p.m. latest.

I left school at 9.05p.m, after spending about 9 hours in that lab (I'm really starting to hate that lab by the way)
Fri's one of my shortest day of the week for crying out loud! =.=
We changed the hypothesis at least 5, 6 times I think - the group almost had a nervous breakdown.
It was a very unfortunate Friday. only had dinner at 11p.m. (or should that be supper?)
But I think I was so fed up I gorged on food.

EXAMS next week! grrrr. i can't get it in!

My laptop cooler's a goner.

Now, I think the lab's a scary place to be in.

I went to FAL and printed soooooo many documents the printer almost went on strike.
That guy was weird. There were 2 printers available and he chose to queue behind us, and stared when we took too long.

"Can I have this dance" is on repeat mode! Makes one feel like falling in love :)

This guy with his laptop and barang barang missed his step when he came down from the upper deck. Think he came down 2 steps and plopped and sat on the lowest step. It startled everyone on board, and he looked utterly stunned. poorthing

ineverknew

Can't tell if they relate at all usually, because everyone seemed so nonchalant.

Yet, when something dreadful happens, the tears flow.

The drinks really did it this time.

Has it all been taken for granted?

For Now
