Quite disappointed.

Prawn noodles at canteen 3 was quite satisfactory.

BLAW was nuttynuttynutty. Company Law is so so boring, compared to our common test topics. I had more doodling to erase than what I took down for notes.

ok, i guess i'm more disappointed than i think i am.

The TAX thingy went so fast, I don't think I registered anything.

Monday's story-telling was a bit weird. Haha, it got to the point of being a little silly.

Yesterday's FIT was so not funny. Luckily she didn't have to tell jokes to earn a living, she would have starved to death. Like, seriously. So many instances of awkward silence, Stephie and I just threw each other like don't know how many quizzical looks. I was half-mortified.

No school tomorrow. =D The only good point about e-learning. The bad? More e-stuff, which takes eons to load. Oh, but got piano tomorrow. Sheesh, I haven't practised.
And COST tutorial presentation on Friday. I haven't even attempted the tutorial!

Saturday. Grandma's doing this reverse psychology on me. We're holding a mini buffet, which would start around 4 or 5p.m. She told me to leave that day totally free of activities. BUT, prac ends at 5. How?! I'm torn.

Chatted online, did some advertising. Haha, and talked to this junior whom I had a good talk with. I felt OLD. Like, some time not too long ago, he was this cute short guy who joined band. And voila! He's already sec 5 this year, preparing for his O's. Gosh. And then all that thought about life after graduation, and yadda yadda yadda comes flooding. And I feel strangely intimidated by LIFE. Haha...

2 weeks of break.
It really was a break for me, because I didn't even touch my tutorials for like 13 days.
I only finished jap and IFA like yesterday (sun).
Will be chiong-ing FIT tonight.
Over the 2 weeks, I lost my timetable. Yes, so smart, I know, thank you.

That window-shopping with Fang left me dreaming about those denim skirts we saw.
But they probably won't look good on me with my carrot legs, so what the heck. Until I get to try them on and see if they fit, that thing's last on my agenda for now.
Eve Eve Eve, when are we gonna get our cheap black belts?!

I've been harping on watching movies way before the break, and ended up watching none. Hurray.

Did tickets with Steph, became part time robot doing that repetitive motion of chopping tickets, and proferating them. 2 people working on 200 tickets take 5+++ hours. And many other hours pumped in for practice.
Please come support us at Studio Percussion Unit (SPU)'s 2nd concert "My Home" please. It's on 29th July, at YMS. SMS, E-MAIL or CALL if you want tickets. I'm in charge of tickets, so ya, "joyjoyjoy".

Extra "joy", I got a bass part again. "whee" that means having to figure out the correct octave to play in again, and hopefully advert the real possibility of being at the receiving end of one of his super disapproving stares again. -shudders-

A week's gone, and my tutorials are still stashed away somewhere in my stack of notes, untouched. I haven't picked up a pen in 7 days straight.

Been turning in early, if you consider 11.30 p.m early, that is, and I've been reading a chapter of my book before sleeping. I realised, I do miss reading. Simply because reading transports you to a fictional world, and in that period where you disconnect with the real world for a while, you're allowed to drop whatever's been bugging you.

Had SPU. New addition, Julia, whose background we don't really know. Steph toyed with the idea of quitting, and I'm like perplexed.
note to steph: if you quit with _______, then I stay on alone ah?! Hello, you were the one who encouraged me to join with you remember?! -pouts- don't quit la -pleads pleads pleads- haha.
Celebrated father's day early with dinner at a restaurant, and saw stars Hong Huifang with her family. Zheng Geping's this tall mascular guy, and my cousins were largely amused by the fact that the moment he set foot into the restaurant, all heads turned and people started gawking and lowering their heads to engage in small talk. Lol.

Thereafter, we proceeded to my uncle's, where my brother had a mini belated birthday celebration with a big birthday cake. I was thoroughly bored, which isn't anything new, really.

Yesterday, my cousins came, and we baked cookies and brownies. We splattered the mixture onto the kitchen top and made a huge mess. While waiting, we watched Just Like Heaven, which was pretty engaging. Certainly a more eventful and fruitful time spent than on Saturday night.

Plans: piano, 2 sakae dates, chinatown, SPU prac, do tutorials

FIT discusssion ended pretty early yesterday, and soonafter, the 3 of us were all gaming away in the room. Our neighbours came over and knock on the glass to get us down for lunch. They came back the second time round and gestured pretty frantically to go for lunch. Guess they must have been pretty hungry. That small room was darn cold. And if I say it's cold, it's really cold.

The day before, on my way home, this certain senior from my secondary school whom I had a crush boarded the bus I was on. He's like Justice Bao, just that he doesn't have that moon thingy on his forehead like Bao. Haha. He didn't look like he grown any taller leh. =S

Anyway, so ya, yesterday, everyone went out to Woodlands, and I didn't get to go. =x

I just busied myself an hour ago, clearing my folders and all that documents on my laptop. Cuz my aunt just got me a 80 GB hard disk drive! 80 GB!!! Haha, ya, so I shall dump all that gibberish stuff in there. Hope my laptop boots up faster henceforth.

So ya, when I'm clearing stuff, I tend to reread through a lot of stuff, all that message histories and logs. It got me thinking.

I read in a column somewhere before I think, that sometimes, time plays an important role in relationships.
It's like, you meet the right one at the wrong time, and so nothing happens. Or it might be that you may not be meeting the right one, but the time's right, and you get married, and then you realise that you married not because he was the right one, but because you just had to get married, or risk being left on the shelf.

Darn, am I making any sense here? This is kind of profound, and my inadequacy in the language has just made it worst.

Forget it.

Forgot to set my alarm today. Ok, I meant, I set the time, but forgot to lift the whatever you call it. So grams knocked on my door, and I realised it was one hour later than my alarm time! So I hurriedly half-gobbled down my breakfast, and fumbled a little with the ironing board cos I hadn't ironed any clothes for today.

Wore my heels, which I regretted soonafter. I almost sprained my ankle walking to the seat at the upper deck of the bus. Luckily, no one saw, I think. No one would have bothered to look anyway, haha. It made me rethink whether or not I should go buy wedges, or heels of any kind for that matter.

Frankly, I was pretty switched off for the whole time during FIT project discussion today! I haven't the slightest idea what's going on. Serious. Presentation alone takes up like, 40%? or is it 40 marks. That fact alone makes the whole project a turnoff. And then there's BLAW, which is another headache.

This 2 week break feels nothing like a break. Less for the fact that we do get to sleep in on days we don't have to go school for discussions, and less other mundane stuffs. I wish I had a day to myself, wholly and exclusively, at home.

Today, there was a Beautiful Sunday performance at the Esplanade again. Somehow, it has become a monthly getaway for Evelyn and I. Haha, we're probably some of the faithful followers of Beautiful Sunday. Today's performance was the combined alumni band concert - Yuhua and RiverValley High, I think.

Frankly, I don't think they had enough practices. The first piece was terribly jarring to the ears for me, just plain messy. Subsequent ones were pretty ok I guess. But, what's with the dancers? Anyway, all those were only my own humble opinion, I reckon I can't really decide between a GOOD band and a mediocre one anymore.
Trash was quite well done though.

After the performance, another started at the top bottom concourse ( or is it the top, Evelyn?). This was really an eye-opener. Performers from Australia, with their "whirlies" (is that what it's called?) and some other instruments which really sound like the handbells. "Whirlies" (or so I shall name them henceforth) look like your average tubes hanging out from your washing machines, those where the water comes out from?... They had it in different diameters and are colour coded to their different C, F and i forgot what harmonics. Each tube, which's custom-made, can produce 6 different tones, depending on how first you whirl them around. It's really cool! You have to see it to understand what I'm trying to explain here.

We then proceeded to do some window-shopping at Marina Square, and had Anderson's ice-cream. YUM YUM! Danish Nougat's really nice, and so is Strawberry & Cream! And we saw Chen Weilian. He's not bad-looking in person, but is shorter than he look on TV. Ohoh, then Eve had an upset tummy and while waiting for her outside, I saw this couple with the "whirlies"! I didn't know you could buy those. I saw the man holding a bag containing 2 "whirlies" while waiting outside the ladies' for his gf/wife. And when it was his turn to go answer nature's call, his partner took over the "whirlies" and started whirling outside the toilet!
I mean like, come on, I know it's a good place there with all that big empty space and all, but shouldn't you act someone your age. I would understand if a child played with it, but an adult?! Irksome.
Then this lady who was waiting outside for her boy started staring. When the one who was whirling caught the other staring, she then tried to dismiss it, calmly putting the "whirlies" back into the bag, and, STARTED HUMMING!?
-faints-
To date, I think she's one of the most childish adults I've seen. =s

The whole of Marina Square we searched, and no suitable belts. Why is it so hard to just find a normal black belt, without any glittery stuff....?
Ok, so I ALMOST bought this black belt with a big shiny star at the front. Hee...nice la, but I think it'd be a waste when it goes out of fashion, given the alarming rate at which fashion's morphing all the time.

Think I gotta go sleep. Nights.

Um, the last episode of Women of Times was, kinda predictable. Nothing new. Fann's "balloon tube" was way too overblown, it made her look fat.

Finally, CTs are over. No more hair-pulling days, not till the exams approach that is. Only thing to do now is to cross fingers and hope and pray that I won't fail any papers. CTs this round were all nightmares. I'm really quite scared.

Nonetheless, it's a 2 week break we're having now, so I shall try to be happy these 2 weeks. Unfortunately, week 1 has been transformed into a "project week", meaning I'd have to go back to school for project meetings and discussions ALMOST every day. So, that leaves me with another week ENTIRELY free, that is if I finish all my tutorials and projects at hand.

Now, who wants to go shopping with me?
I really like that wedges I saw. It's NICE!
Nearly got a top from 77th street today. But, no stocks left, except for that one piece. =s I decided not to take it.

I'm looking forward to my Sakae date with DRAMA QUEEN. DRAMA QUEEN's vicious. She actually went town-ing even though she's set to go off to Malaysia tonight. -faints-
Think she should be called SHOPPING QUEEN instead.

Anyway, that's about all I can blog about tonight. Will be back with more updates if possible (not that anyone is interested I guess)

Is it okay to miss you, and to get jealous? Why am I even feeling jealous in the first place?!
I surprise myself sometimes.

Yesterday dinner out with family. All too lazy to cook at home, so I had fish beehoon for dinner yesterday.

Joyjoyjoy, I got my second very-much-in-advance birthday present.
First was my gadget. Now, a watch!

I love that watch. Thanks mum!

I've had watches for birthday presents for a couple of years already.

When Dec 06 comes around, I'll be short of 2 presents.

But for now, I'm quite happy.
I'll be happier when COST is over.

Had sushi for dinner yesterday. And much to everyone's disbelief, I ate quite like a hungry pig. =x

Then, we shopped around for a while, and I saw this pair of wedges which I really liked. Ya... but wedges being wedges, it is quite high and I start to imagine myself waddling in those. They offered, but I turned it down. I always have this mentality that if I really wanted it, I'll get it myself, using my own pocket money. Haha, then it'll be like, I really got that myself, or something. Aiya, how do you explain that?... Anyway, nevermind if you didn't get what I was trying to say. If you did, then well and good.

I'm really tempted to buy that pair of wedges la!!! But it's quite expensive leh...

-pulls hair-

It's TAX tomorrow.
Frankly, IFA was pretty demoralising, and so was BLAW.
But ya~~

Today is 060606. Devil's number??? Then why are people all getting engaged like today?
