I'm uber confused with aerospace jargons.

I DO NOT want to go lil' India.
Dread it, immensely.

Good thing for grandma's duck noodles. Home-cooked food always provide some kind of comfort.

Friday night was good, because I caught Phantom with JH. The bad? The people sitting beside on either side of both of us.
This woman beside me brought in milo snacks, in a plastic bag! Needless to say, as she sifted through her bag to reach in for those brown chunks, there was this constant rustling sound. JH said the one sitting beside her mumbled throughout.

I got us a pair of binoculars and a pgrm. Which reminds me, a few binoculars clanked on the floor while the show was on-going.
Zzzz....

Nonetheless, I love musicals =)
and salmon sashimi.

I am damn sick of this module alr.

It's only the 2nd week of school, and it feels like a month's passed.

Hate writing proposals, and my head and body's aching in protest.

too much of a thing can't be good. 7 hours straight.

I'm still irritated!!!

The flu refuses to go away.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

so far...not so good.

I've been getting lots of, "eh, why is your hair so short?" eversince school started.

Whatever, the hair will grow back.

So, it's been a week into books and projects, and everyone's BUSY. Gotta find a way to beat the odds.
The WIL project feels like a FYP. But accountancy students don't do FYPs. -frowns.
Either way, tough luck being co-ordinator. Pressure's mounting, and late night marathons again.

Took a breather on Friday. Lunch cancelled, and had Mos with fang. Meet the Robinsons was LOL funny, and Disney films never fail to bring out the kid in each of us.
For some though, that was taken a step further; sec sch kids playing catch in the theatre???
Perplexing.
Anyway, when the craving for cakes became unbearable, we headed to Secret Recipes =)
I must have overdid the chocolate with Chocolate Indulgence; it left me with a sore throat, a spinning head and a runny nose on Saturday.

Geylang on Tues.
"can't wait"

Spell B.L.U.R

A massacre at Virginia University. Horrifying.

WIL requires its class of 9, (yes, 9) to come up with a project of some sort. So much to do, I can't even blog about it in detail. I foresee a really busy semester this year. It's going to be so taxing, and the tutor stresses that time has to be sacrificed. So, driving will have to be put on hold, and I think I won't be able to start lessons proper till after graduation I suppose.

Unbelievably absent-minded yesterday.
Early in the morning before I left the house for school, I forgot my EZLink card, and recalled leaving it in the pockets of my jeans which I've dumped into the washing machine the night before. Good thing Gramps haven't done laundry =)
After my first tutorial, I'd actually left my laptop under one of the desks in the room. Wasn't until a few minutes into lecture that I realised, and ran back to the neighbouring block to retrieve it. Lecture was held in Convention Centre (CC), which made leaving and entering lecture less conspicuous. Embarrassing.
After lecture, gathered outside CC to allocate roles for group, and realised I'd left my phone on my seat in the CC. Scoured seats row after row, because I forgot which row we sat at.
Tsk tsk tsk.

So, the tutors have this new gadget which isn't good news for people who pon lectures regularly.
Haha. (and no, I'm not one of those, because my elders will slay me if they ever find out)

Met up with Eve, with the intention of getting a free scoop of Ben & Jerry's, BUT, OMG, we're not the only cheapskate people around. The queue was long, and I think I saw Sally, whom I haven't seen in more than 2 years, in the queue. We gave up, and almost succumbed to paying for ours.
We didn't have any B&J's in the end, and decided to go for Andersen's at MarinaSq.

Alas, in the end, we had our dinner at CafeCartel at 6p.m, and nuggets at Mac's hours later, where Eve had to do her "blasting", WITHOUT any ice-cream.
No B&J, no Andersen's, not even a 50 cents ice-cream cone.

And she got her slippers at Novo, and I didn't get mine, cuz that'd mean getting the last pair (the one for the right leg was the one on display, and I refused to buy it cuz all that trying meant the one for the right leg was loose and dirty.)

Got home a little past 10 and was exhausted, I fell asleep on the bed reading the papers.
And some unknown called my hp an hour after I was soundly asleep. =s

today

I just watched what I thought was the most depressing, and intense episode of Desperate Housewives, throughout the 3 seasons.

Good thing I was holed up in the comfort of my bedroom, so no one saw my fat tears coming down. Haha.

Utt is H.O.T
Granted he doesn't go topless or anything, but really, guys don't have to tear off their shirts all the time, and sometimes guys do look better with their shirts on. =p

So, the video on planes showed during Aerospace today was informative, and very interesting. Unfortunately, we didn't get enough information to fill up the blanks in the tutorial worksheet.
We are actually learning in 5 months what people studying Aerospace take 3 years to learn.
Reminds me of how people taking HMT had less than 5 months to study what others took 4 years to prepare for the MT O's.

I'm tired.
And my hair's dry, frizzy and weird-looking.
=(

It's gonna start, all over again.

School's going to start.

In another 36 minutes, Sunday will come, and gasp Monday.

Hallelujah.

I've finally written the withdrawal letter for SPU.

finally.

Hope it's acceptable. It's really short.

get a haircut, and pray when all else fails.

Had enough of yelling, of "OMG"s, of "what the hell is the school thinking!", of moaning and complaining about people I haven't yet met.

I have to make new friends, and not forget the old ones.

Not as if yelling over the phone, or kicking over some tables/chairs will get me back into the class I chose.

Whatever.

I look forward to a smooth semester ahead, and pray to get through my last semester in school unscathed.

*prays VERY hard*

PISSED. SCREW SELF-SELECT TIMETABLING!

I AM REALLY PISSED AND APPALLED AT THE CHANGE IN MY TIMETABLE.

WHY IN THE WORLD DID THEY CHANGE IT?!

AND THEY GAVE ME SOME ULU MODULE THAT I DIDN'T CHOOSE.

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY ? ? ? ? ?

I DEMAND A PROPER AND SATSIFACTORY ANSWER.

ARGHZ

So, I did get some stupid sms in the end, which I promptly sent out to some 5 other people.
I almost got pranked.
Subsequently, I received 2 calls, which was ultimately what people who got fooled would do. It wasn't all that bad, cuz I heard from 2 juniors whom I haven't met in a while.

Just a week before my last day at work, this new CRE (customers relation executive) came in and I really thought he bore some uncanny resemblance to Kengz. Employee turnover's really high at where I worked - you hear of people leaving and see some new faces every other day.

Last day at work was my busiest at work too.
Seeing how Gd Fri was a P.H., work stacked up, and I had 4 stacks of work waiting to be cleared instead of the usual 3.

My leaving wasn't all that big an affair, (seeing how I was almost a nobody, haha).
I didn't give a piece of cake to everyone I knew (unlike him); no one except for those whom I worked closely with knew I was leaving (unlike him - I still remember on his last day, almost everyone whom he walked past gave him a handshake of some sort, and wished him well at NS, haha).
Nonetheless, a lunch treat at Country Manna, one firm handshake and 3 sincere "thanks for your help" would suffice. =)
I hope they liked the chocolates.

Sunday was girls' day out at Escape.
We had a back-up plan to go bowl instead (something which SB and I looked forward to more than escape -.-), because the weather forecast said something along the lines of "a rain" and "a thunderstorm", well, according to Linn that is.
Don't know if we were lucky, but we had fairly good weather, lest for a slight drizzle, which lasted for about 15 min or so.
We arrived a quarter past noon, and stayed on till 7 + in the evening.
Rested for lunch at BK's, and resumed taking rides.
Good thing the BK chicken and coke didn't find its way up my throat. I surprised myself.
So, we went on all the rides, except for one that was under maintainence, and 2 others which I was too scared to go on.
But hell, we took the viking and rainbow rides over and over and over again, I think the operators recognised us. On impulse at times, we'd just stay put in our seats for 3 consecutive rides. We also discovered later that after a wet 15 metres plunge down this water slide which left us wet, 2 times on the viking ride would help dry your hair and clothes a tat bit faster. ;)

Once, we had this other group of 7 join us on the viker's, they had 2 girls on our side, and the other 5 guys on the opposite. This one guy who looked sick and was about to puke, sat directly opposite me, and his friends called out for me to duck just in case I saw vomit flying in my direction midway through the ride. It was hilarious!
A screaming competition soon ensued between the 2 genders, and while my friends screamed to help the 2 miserable girls, I laughed till my sides ached, and didn't do anything. It was really a scene, and I swear people stared.
Finally after 2 rides, and a couple of sore throats, the operator told the guys, "You screamed like girls!!!"
And no, I didn't see any yicky stuff flying; he couldn't really walk straight though.

My favourite was the go-kart. =D
Love the speed.
BUT, the queue wasn't fun.

It's been a really long post.

random: I WANT A HAIRCUT!
and congrats to XMSB for a GOLD!

weight issues

They said I've put on weight. Haha.
I don't know if that's brilliant or not, but I still daren't go on that weighing scale to see how heavy I am now really.

Maybe when school starts, I'll lose whatever I've gained. That is if I can stop myself from snacking like I do in the office now.
Where chips/ chocolates are in close smelling and reaching distance, it's hard to resist.
"Chocolates are a SIN!" you hear the girls scream.
But really, what the heck.

The perm staff in the office make the temps look and feel like pigs.
I can never fit in those clothes hanging off their skinny frames.
That is not to say I don't mind turning into a fatty bom-bom with stumps for legs someday. Just, I don't think a little weight will hurt, right?

For now, excuse me while I go get myself some Meiji dark chocolate from the fridge. =)

oh ya, and a happy april's fool. the WORST so far, I didn't even get some stupid sms like I did in past years.

What a week

Monday-
Out with Steph, even though it was really last minute. She had a free ticket to TheatreIdols at the Esplanade, and I went ahead with her. For a detailed write-up on that, pls refer to www.rwrite.blogspot.com Haha
It was all laugh-out-loud funny and totally thought-provoking all at once. Least to say, I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Wednesday-
Celia’s birthday. ‘Nuff said. =)

Thursday-
Finance meeting. –ahem
Bowling.

Friday-
Frasers Day. I had fun bowling. It is addictive. I would't mind knocking down some pins again anytime soon. Buffet was GOOD, and we wished we could have something as sumptuous for lunch everyday at work.
Door gifts included an umbrella and a notebook. Was half glad that celebrations ended early, which meant I could go home and not lug along that umbrella to Gen’s belated celebration.
Had dinner at Orange Lantern and the girls swore never to return.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My IE’s really pissing me off. And some people are getting on my nerves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe I did, but that doesn’t mean I still do.
I thought it wouldn’t affect me that much anymore.
I was so wrong.
