Today was not a very good day.

The bus came late...I took forever to complete cashflow, and the files refused to open. I'm using Excel everyday except the weekends and I'm starting to hate it.

:(

Whatever!
I just hope this week flies and sunday comes fast! Cuz I'm going K!!! Alright, I wouldn't say KBox's the love of my life, but it certainly is a good alternative to movies and meals. And I'll get to meet fangpearlcarol.

FTT's in like 22 days time and I have no idea what's going on. >.<

So many birthdays coming up! And a PH, and more programmes. Wahahaha!

Went out for lunch with mum and dad, after which dad brought me to the car showrooms.

The toyota yaris' a cute car, the audi(s) wayyyy too expensive, and the mitsubishi(s) and kia(s) aren't exactly my favs.

But anyway, I guess it's too early to think about cars for now. Besides, these purchases are not within my means. In fact, unattainable.

Dad says sg's so small a country, the only things you can do during the weekends are to go look at cars and flats. Haha! He said to go work overseas in the future if possible. I don't know why he suddenly brought that up, but I don't think there was any underlying meaning behind that.

I'm torn between psych and accts. I should not have to decide between the 2, right. I should be all for accts, if not, why do my 3 years leave me? :(

My mind is whirling.

No thanks to the excitement of having to wait for that much-coveted letter of acceptance.

We still have choices right? I mean, we studied our ass-es off for 3 years, and the many years before the 3...surely we'd get something, closer?

Don't like this at all. Like we're all stuck in a rat race.

3 years ago, it was like this; 3 years on, STILL like this?

When people start asking, "Any news/letters from U?", it kinda creeps me out a little.

I have to admit I've got no backup plans if in any case I don't get into any of the 3 I've applied for.

I can't wait for time to fly and school to start. I think I'll slap myself so hard I won't be able to see my nose and mouth when I look in the mirror when school really starts and I'm buried under notes and assignments.

Work's like rah~~~I'm seriously exploring teaching piano as an option for a living. Haha! If I can look at G8's scales without trembling, and actually hit the right notes with aural, and not forgetting the pieces....

I've had chicken almost every meal from Monday right up till tonight's dinner.

Monday afternoon I had claypot chicken rice. Monday night - chicken rice. This afternoon - chicken patti with bread @ BK's (I forgot what it's called, it slipped my mind). Tonight - chicken wings.

=.=chickenchickenchickenchicken.

Nights. I'll have something different tmr, I'll make sure.

Your True Love Is a Virgo
Why you'll love a Virgo:
Almost perfect and a total perfectionist, your Virgo will do almost anything to please you.Low maintenance and loyal, it's almost too easy to love a Virgo!
Why a Virgo will love you:
You're totally dependable and discreet. A Virgo knows that you can be trusted.Attractive and a high achiever, a Virgo can appreciate your attention to detail.

Nuff' said really. As if once wasn't enough.

Stupidzhen.

pregrad.

Hello!

I tried to sign up for practical online and the website denies me access. =.=
I'm going to make a trip down there on Saturday and demand to know why! Haha!
Ahh, on second thoughts, I won't DEMAND, cuz I'm nice :)

I got a haircut :) I dislike leaving the house for the hairdresser's, but relish the moment I see my new hairdo. What extremes.

I think there will be LOTS of kbox sessions lined up in the coming month and I can't wait.

Anyway, I just learnt that I'll be sitting beside Steph (dajie) during graduation. 3 years ago on my 1st day in poly, I sat next to her in the convention centre; fast forward 3 years to the here and now, we'll be seated next to each other again! Haha...
And, BY's got a CIJ, SJ's got a COM! Congrats!!!

I'll miss poly, really. The library, the people (minus the real ugly/mean species I've seen), the school, nerve-wrecking moments dealing with presentations and projects...

An understatement - I wouldn't do my 3 years any justice summing it all up in a few words.

Please remind me to take my camera along!

I PASSED G7!

I finally remembered to post my stuffs to Ntu.

On my way home from hgmall, my piano teacher called.

"yaddayaddayadda..."
"Eh, how did you play your scales that day ah??"
"Uh, don't know leh...not very good la...don't know la..."
"Huh, don't know ah? Aiyo, don'tknowdon'tknowdon'tknow...."
I was already THISCLOSE to hanging up because I hadn't the slightest idea how to describe to her how BADLY I played that day.

"I also don't know how you got a merit leh..."

no, she didn't just say that.

"So... I passed?.............."

"Merit leh, you say got pass or not?"

"Really? MY results ah? Correct slip or not?"

"There..." She went on reading out my full name and all the particulars and stuffs.

OMG! I PASSED G7.

"I don't care ah, whether you go university or whatever. You better complete your G8 by hook or by crook."

ohno.

Anyway, I smiled like an idiot for the rest of the journey.

Naruwan I

Day 1 - 西门町
Very much like an orchard road of some sort. Not exactly rowdy cuz it's less appealing than before I think. Lots of people who were dressed in all kinds of weird clothes. Behind me's the spot where people go up and perform and stuff. Might have seen it on tv before.
Tried this meesua like food which was pretty tasty. No tables, no chairs, you just had to stand around and eat.

Day 2 - 九份
Guide (2nd from right) is a knowledgeable woman who's a jane of all trades. She has a bag full of medicines, you name it, she's got it. Humorous lady with a mind of her own. Very experienced and quite a somebody.
Chiufen's the actual filming site of 伤城. Nestled against the mountains and hemmed in by the sea, it's an old town rich in decorative old teahouses and Japanese-style homes lined by traditional long lanes.
Shop sells small yam tangyuans in different colours with a mix of red bean, green bean and i-forgot-what soup.
On the bus to Rueifang station,

Look FANG!

Guide bought 便当s for us to fill our hungry stomachs on the train. Long long journey of 2 hours before we reached hualien.

I was getting abit bored you see.

Then I suddenly remembered our poor coach driver who had to drive for 4 hours straight to pick us up at our destination to take us to Taroko Gorge and I stopped pouting.

Would you just look at that?! It's scary when the coach goes up the mountain roads...

I'll tell you more =)

I was about to sleep actually.

But my friends dropped a big bomb on me.

I laughed, and I cried.

I half-wished you both had told me earlier, or maybe, never asked at all.

But now that it’s clear, I’m ready to move on.

Hello, friend.

Xinfony VIII was great for catching up and meeting people I haven't met in years. :)
Even though main band was not exactly fantastic, the X-Winds didn't disappoint. There were pieces like Jap Graffiti which brought back great memories, and I do wish the school would be more supportive of the alumni. But if nothing goes through, we might just be hearing the last of X-Winds. =/

Worked OT on Friday; and I get really grumpy when I have to work OT.

But nevermind! I'll be out of town tomorrow. YESSSSSSS!!!

Till then :))
